Where has BatOS been?

Is BatOS 1.4 the final version?

No, in fact, I am working on 1.5 currently.

What will come with BatOS 1.5?

As you may have seen, we have released Dino Notepad. This is the standalone version of the new BatOS TxTPad v2! It will be an old version of pre-1.0 of Dino Notepad though. I have removed the music that’s in the modified version of Batch Town though. I may try to see if I can add a more advanced color system as well, which will mean a complete overhall with the BatOS user file.

What will be in the new user file?

Due to how the new TxTPad works, it will remove the 3 text files saved in the user file. I may also add the new customization system, which means the old one will not work. So a BatOS 1.4 user file will not be compatible with BatOS 1.5 and vise versa.

How can I update my user file for BatOS 1.5?

I will try to program a user file updater that will ship with 1.5. It will automatically detect your user file, grab what is needed from it, then make a new file.
